Clinical Scope
Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal hygiene care, including:
Routine hygiene and preventive care
Periodontal maintenance
Scaling and root planing (SRP)
Periodontal assessments
Oral hygiene instruction
Patient education
Identifying and communicating recommended treatment
Supporting treatment acceptance through patient education
New patients are typically evaluated by the doctor first, allowing the hygienist to focus on comprehensive hygiene care and developing long-term patient relationships.

Candidate Profile
We're looking for a hygienist who is passionate about patient care and confident in their clinical abilities.
The ideal candidate will be:
An experienced Registered Dental Hygienist
Strong in periodontal care
Comfortable performing SRP and periodontal maintenance
Confident educating patients about periodontal disease
A personable, outgoing communicator
Comfortable discussing treatment recommendations with patients
Comfortable working with a diverse patient population
Flexible and adaptable
A collaborative team player
Motivated to contribute to patient outcomes and practice growth
An active Illinois dental hygiene license is preferred.
Indiana-licensed hygienists who are willing to obtain Illinois licensure will also be considered.
