Director OF Data Management

Leading the design and modernization of an enterprise data platform, the full-time hybrid Director of Data Management will oversee the migration to Azure Databricks Lakehouse, manage a data engineering team, and align data strategies with business objectives. Key responsibilities Define and own the enterprise data platform strategy, ensuring scalability and performance Oversee data modernization efforts, including migration from legacy systems to Azure Databricks Lakehouse Lead and mentor data engineers, ensuring delivery accountability and technical excellence Required qualifications 10+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or platform leadership, with at least 5 years in team management Expertise with Azure Data Services and hands-on experience with Databricks Lakehouse Familiarity with streaming/real-time ingestion technologies such as Kafka or Event Hub Strong background in data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data warehousing Bachelor's degree in computer science, business/data analytics, or a related field
