Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Room/Emergency Department in Alexandria, VA. This travel position requires expertise in treating both adult and pediatric patients in a combined environment, offering a dynamic work setting.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patients in a combined ER setting
• Handle common diagnoses such as STEMI, stroke, and sprains, along with high acuity cases
• Manage routine vasopressors, insulin, and sedation drips
• Work flexibly between 3p-3a and 7p-7a shifts as needed
• Maintain patient ratios, staffing for 4:1 and stretching to 5:1 during peak census

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a combined adult and pediatric ER
• Experience with Epic access
