Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing month-end close activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Review fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and accruals.
• Assist with cash flow reporting and treasury-related activities.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and complex transactions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support organizational objectives.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and financial analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• CPA designation or CPA eligibility is preferred but not required.
