Overview Employee Type: PRN. Day shift position. 1099 or W2 available per candidate preference. Responsibilities Provide pre‑anesthetic preparation and patient evaluation. Recommend, request, and evaluate pertinent diagnostic studies. Select, prepare, and administer anesthetic agents or other agents in management of anesthetic care. Provide anesthesia induction, maintenance, emergence, and post‑anesthesia care. Provide post‑anesthesia follow‑up, report, and evaluation of patient’s response to anesthesia and for potential anesthetic complications. Identify and manage emergency situations and initiate or participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Qualifications Graduate of accredited nurse anesthesia program. Two (2) years of anesthesia‑care experience in an acute setting preferred. Valid state APRN recognition (must meet state education requirement and obtain within six months of hire). Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA). Certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association. Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification. National Provider Identifier (NPI) and taxonomy code required at time of hire.
