Quality Control Specialist

Providing a safe environment, quality workmanship, and exceptional value to our customers is the foremost focus of our operations.Q3 Contracting, has an immediate opening for a Quality control Specialist in Little Canada, MN.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for performing field audit functions.Complete daily documentation of field audits & evaluations.Assists with necessary employee training qualification functions.Accident and/or incident investigation & reporting.Provides direct engagement with crew activities in the field.Provides training and instruction to field employees on job sites.Provides input to management.Evaluates employee / crew performance relating to PDS and Customer standards, best practices and safety polices.Assist in developing performance objectives and standards.Maintain confidentiality at all times.Position requires travel through out the region.Additional duties as assigned.Job Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors in related field desiredThree years’ related experience in constructionProficient user of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to identify noncompliant performance and assist Operations with implementation of corrective actions.Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to prioritize and plan work activities to be effective and efficientAbility to maintain and protect confidential informationExcellent verbal and written communication skills required; ability to maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with all customers (internal/external)Must be comfortable and effective working in an environment with changing demands, delays and responding to unexpected situationsA demonstrated willingness to work hard and at times physically demanding work in the elements.Q3 Contracting is a drug-free environment, and all candidates are subject to drug testing.Benefits Include:Competitive compensation is paid weeklyBest-in-class; medical, dental, vision, and LTD/STD401(k) with company matchPaid time off and Holiday payGrowth opportunitiesAnd so much moreCompensation: $32-$38/hr.
