Job Description
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a dedicated and skilled professional ready to deliver exceptional nursing care in an emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic charting systems.

Shift Information

Shifts: Available in 12-hour and 8-hour formats, including night shifts.
Weekend Requirement: Work every other weekend.

Staffing Ratios

Days: 1:3 Patient-to-Nurse Ratio
Nights: 1:3 Patient-to-Nurse Ratio
Weekends: 1:3 Patient-to-Nurse Ratio

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, and TNCC.
Skills Required: IV start abilities.
Preferred Skills: Experience in triage and conscious sedation.

Floating Requirements

The RN may float within their scope to meet the needs of the facility across multiple locations as required.

Additional Information

There are no restrictions on the number of days requested off, but ideally no more than 5 days.
This position does not accommodate a block schedule.
Local candidates are welcome, and pending licenses are not accepted.
