Location: Albany, NY Category: Student Assistant Positions Job Type: Part-time Temporary Posted On: Fri May 29 2026 The Student Intern will support the administration and ongoing development of the Slate by Technolutions CRM platform used across SUNY System Administration. This role is ideal for a student interested in higher education technology, data systems, communications, or operations. The intern will assist with database management, communications workflows, quality assurance, reporting, and user support within Slate. The position offers hands‑on experience with a leading higher education CRM platform and exposure to enterprise‑level data and communication operations. Primary Responsibilities Assist with daily maintenance and support of the Slate CRM database Review, update, and organize records to ensure data accuracy and integrity Support the creation and testing of forms, queries, reports, and communication campaigns Assist with validating data Conduct quality assurance testing for workflows, portals, and communications Help document business processes, procedures, and training materials Respond to basic user support requests and troubleshoot issues under supervision Support special projects related to admissions, recruitment, communications, and CRM optimization Maintain confidentiality and security of student and institutional data Required Qualifications Current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at a SUNY institution Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfort working with databases, spreadsheets, and technology platforms Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Interest in higher education administration, data systems, communications, or information technology Preferred Technical Skills Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets CRM or database platforms HTML/CSS basics Data analysis or reporting tools Slate by Technolutions experience Potential Learning Opportunities CRM administration and higher education technology Data governance and quality assurance Professional communication workflows Process documentation and systems operations Cross‑functional collaboration within a large university system Additional Information Hours are flexible, typically averaging 20 hours per week.
