Job Description

A large, mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking several Inventory Clerks to work at multiple sites throughout the Houston area. Inventory Clerks will be responsible for physical verification of biomedical devices currently identified as active within the CMMS system.

Responsibilities

• Validate equipment location, asset tag information, serial numbers, manufacturer and model details.
• Document operational status and identifying any discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Utilize Excel spreadsheets and related documentation tools to accurately record findings and updates;
• Identify and document missing, relocated, inactive, or unrecorded equipment;
• Work across multiple Harris Health facilities throughout the duration of the project;
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy while operating within clinical and administrative healthcare environments; and
• Deliver timely, organized, and detail-oriented support to ensure successful reconciliation of biomedical assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• HS Diploma
• 1-2+ yrs of prior inventory, asset tracking, warehouse, logistics, or equipment auditing experience;
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately reconcile physical inventory against spreadsheet or database records;
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry functions;
• The ability to read and verify serial numbers, manufacturer labels, model numbers, and asset tags with a high degree of accuracy;
• Strong organizational and communication skills;
• The ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and accountability across multiple locations;
• Physical capability to walk healthcare facilities for extended periods and safely identify equipment in various departments; and
