TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Spokane, Washington, 99204!

Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required License: Valid RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Comfortable with the NIH stroke scale Experience with various neurology diagnoses and neurosurgery patients Experience with telemetry management Description: The Telemetry Registered Nurse will float between units as needed. On-call is not required for this position. Weekends are required, with every other weekend scheduled. Block scheduling is not required. Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4. The nurse should have experience managing BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, and care for patients undergoing craniotomy and those with traumatic brain injuries. Dysrhythmia management skills are essential, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Pre- and post-operative care for neurosurgery patients is a key responsibility. The unit includes a designated stroke unit and provides comprehensive neuroscience care. Charting will be conducted using the Epic system. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. The daily census is approximately 48 patients across the unit. Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Nurses should be prepared to float to nearby facilities if necessary. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Travel nursing experience is preferred but not required.
