Credentialing Specialist

Duties/Responsibilities Credential providers, facilities, and vendors in accordance with regulations and Healthfirst policy. Prepare presentations for the quarterly credentialing and delegate vendor oversight committee meetings. Facilitate pre-delegation and delegation vendor audits to ensure adherence to contractual arrangements. Prepare hard‑copy directories and work with third‑party vendors for posting online directories. Review relevant data to ensure accuracy. Effectively communicate to internal departments and external partners. Identify and assess opportunities to improve processes to better ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to state and federal regulations. Raise issues to management and assist in resolution. Additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications HS diploma or GED. Prior relevant experience. Time and project management, critical/creative thinking, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Intermediate Microsoft software skills including Adobe, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
