Job Description As a Security Officer – Residential Dispatch Operations , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.56 / Hour Job Schedule Day Time Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and public agency personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, maintenance-related concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe individuals entering or leaving the property, following site procedures for visitor, contractor, and delivery access. Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications, and promptly report unusual conditions to site leadership and/or emergency responders. Minimum Requirements Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
