This role serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and TPAs, ensuring claims are handled appropriately, regulatory requirements are met, and claim outcomes align with company expectations.This position is ideal for a seasoned claims professional who enjoys providing oversight, guidance, and technical expertise rather than managing a traditional claim inventory from inception to closure.What You'll DoOversee commercial auto, trucking, bodily injury, property damage, and PIP claims handled by TPAsMonitor claim activity, review files, and identify potential exposure or escalation concernsProvide technical direction and guidance to TPAs regarding claim handling and litigation strategyMaintain daily communication with TPAs regarding claim developments and workflow expectationsReview coverage issues and evaluate policy language to support claim decisionsPartner with internal departments and TPAs to ensure accurate data exchange and reportingConduct audits of TPA programs and claim files to ensure compliance with company standardsMonitor demand responses, litigation activity, trial preparation, and mediation outcomesMaintain workflow tasks and documentation in a timely mannerPresent claim information and recommendations to internal stakeholders as neededQualificationsWhat We're Looking For10+ years of commercial auto claims adjusting experienceStrong background handling bodily injury and litigated claimsExperience managing complex commercial auto and trucking lossesAbility to review policy language and determine coverage applicabilityExperience attending mediations, depositions, and trialsKnowledge of state-specific claim handling requirements, demand regulations, and response timelinesStrong understanding of medical and legal terminologyExcellent written communication, organizational, and analytical skillsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsHigh School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business management or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.Licensing Requirement: Candidates must hold an active adjuster license or be willing and able to obtain and maintain all required state licenses.
