Shift: 7:15 AM - 3:45 PM

Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Associate’s Degree in Ultrasound. Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Unit Details: Provides high quality ultrasound images of the heart and great vessels for adult patients. Provides technical assistance with exercise and non-exercise stress testing. Assists the cardiologist in performing transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE). Prepares, instructs, assists the patients, and produces the images in a timely manner for dobutamine and exercise stress echocardiograms. Assists in performing functional, pharmacological cardiolite, and echocardiography stress testing. Demonstrates proficiency in conducting pediatric echocardiograms. Participates in mobile echo/vascular service regionally. Uses computerized documentation systems, software-driven testing machines, and digital archive systems.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. Start times: 645,700,715,730 Weekend rotation. Holiday rotation. Callback rotation. Rotating weekday call 4p-7a.

Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
