Allied Technician - Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist (PT)
A physical therapist (PT) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats individuals experiencing movement dysfunctions, pain, and limitations due to injury, illness, or disability. The role involves developing and implementing personalized treatment plans using therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and various techniques aimed at restoring function, managing pain, and enhancing overall quality of life. Additionally, PTs educate patients on strategies for injury prevention and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Utilize therapeutic exercises and manual therapy to improve mobility and reduce pain.
- Monitor and document patients' progress throughout the treatment process.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and wellness strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a physical therapist.
- Valid licensure as a physical therapist in Texas or under a compact license.
Work Schedule
Shifts are 8 hours per day, with no weekend or on-call requirements.
