Responsibilities:
As a Bridge Apprentice, you will assist in the construction, repair, and maintenance of bridges and culverts. Your duties may include:
- Assisting with the set-up and removal of construction equipment
- Mixing and pouring concrete for bridge supports
- Operating hand and power tools under the supervision of experienced workers
- Ensuring worksite safety protocols are followed at all times
- Performing general labor tasks to support the completion of projects
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate for the Skilled Bridge Apprentice position will have:
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy materials
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction principles and practices
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A CDL or the ability to aquire in 6 months
