Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: RN Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: PICC/CVC management Wound care Description: This is an urgent backfill position for a medical surgical unit. The unit emphasizes teamwork and delivers inpatient, observation, and swing bed services. The facility has 17 beds and provides care for patients aged 18 and older, with most being 65 and older. Patient ratios are a maximum of 1:6. The facility features a strong presence of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and respiratory therapy. There is 24-hour provider coverage, along with access to CT, X-Ray, and laboratory services. Candidates should possess skills in PICC/CVC management and wound care. The unit does not perform surgeries. Weekend shifts may be required. Floating between departments may occur, based on nursing experience.
