We are looking for an energetic, technically-focused Body Shop Technician who will help us redefine the car-servicing experience.The Body Shop Technician will be responsible for repairing damaged bodies of vehicles and or parts in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.Prepare and repair vehicle per estimate according to manufacturer standardsDe-trim, disassemble and repair vehicle with a sense of urgency and attention to detailMaintain/assist with identifying, and or, sourcing parts and materialWork as a team player to ensure on-time delivery of vehiclesMeet or exceed the Collision Center's requirement for productivityMaintain tools and equipment in a proper state of repairUnderstand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.Knowledge of manufacturers' repair processes & adherence to Asbury Automotive collision's technical repair processesPositive attitude and fix it right the first time mentalityASE certification & I-Car certifications are a plus!Previous automotive technician or military equivalent experience preferredThis position will require extended periods of bending, kneeling, standing, sitting and squattingThis position will require lifting, carrying and pushing of materials (over 50lbs)Ability to withstand fumes/chemicals, changes in weather conditions (within reason)Must be able to wear protective equipment including respiratorMust be a minimum of eighteen years of ageMust have a valid Driver's LicenseMust be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)Company Benefits:Pay and Recognition:Weekly pay$23 an hourPaid holidays & paid time offPaid trainingStock Awards (select management and front-line team members eligible)Insurance / Retirement:Insurance: medical, vision, dental, accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity plansUp to 12 weeks paid pregnancy leave (disability leave)Paid Parental LeaveHealth savingsFlex spending accounts (tax-free)Short-term and Long-term disability plansLife Insurance (Whole Life and Term)401k with company matchPet InsuranceLearning, Tuition Assistance and Career Development:Digital career path tool to assist with career developmentContinuous training through Asbury's Internal Learning Management SystemProfessional growth and development opportunities.
