Server – Paisans Pizzeria And Bar The Server role is part of our store opening team. Motivated people are needed to provide friendly, fast service and ensure guests’ complete satisfaction. Pay Range Base pay: $10.00/hr - $12.00/hr. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve 3-4 tables as determined by management. Maintain complete knowledge of the restaurant’s food and beverage preparation. Sell alcohol and food items. Enter and complete customers’ orders on the computer system; accept various payment types and make change. Interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner; exceed guest expectations. Maintain specific side-work and ensure cleanliness and smooth operation. Clear and reset tables. Check identification of guests to confirm legal drinking age and politely refuse service to underage guests. Observe guest behavior after alcohol consumption, offer transport if necessary, and seek manager help with disorderly customers as needed. Dress neatly in a clean uniform; maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene per company policy. Perform other duties as directed. Minimum Qualifications Pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better. State alcohol server license and food handler’s card required. Basic mathematical, reading, writing, and computer skills. Excellent communication skills; multitask-oriented. Knowledge of workplace safety procedures. Must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items. Physical Demands and Work Environment The employee is standing most of the shift, frequently reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, stirs, pours, carries, and pushes. Lifts and carries up to 75 pounds. Communicates with expediters and servers and reads orders on tickets. Exposure to hazards such as knife cuts, slips, falls, burns, smoke, steam, high temperatures, extreme cold, sanitation solutions, and frequent hand washing in a high-heat environment.
