HealthYes Staffing Network is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine Physician for a permanent, hospital-employed outpatient primary care opportunity in Southeast Alabama.

The health system is considering Family Medicine physicians for two primary care openings: one immediate vacancy and one that can accommodate a physician completing residency in 2027. This is an outpatient-only position with no obstetrics or inpatient responsibilities.

The practice offers a physician-friendly weekday schedule, strong clinical support, on-site diagnostic services, and an attractive recruitment package.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care
• Conduct wellness examinations and preventive health screenings
• Diagnose and treat common acute medical conditions
• Manage chronic illnesses and long-term treatment plans
• Review laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic results
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Coordinate care with specialists and advanced practice providers
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in applicable quality and patient-safety initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
• Eligible for an unrestricted Alabama medical license
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Practicing physicians and 2027 residency graduates are encouraged to apply
• Independent authorization to work in the United States required
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

• Estimated base salary of $295,000–$340,000 annually

The salary range above is a HealthYes market estimate based on comparable permanent Family Medicine opportunities in Alabama. The employer will determine the actual compensation package based on training, experience, qualifications, and employment terms.
