Retail and Reservation Specialist

Retail & Reservation Specialist Full‑Time | Resort Store Environment Do you enjoy helping people, staying busy, and creating a great customer experience? Join Outdoor Adventures as a Retail & Reservation Specialist and play a key role in both our resort store operations and member interactions. This position is perfect for someone who is friendly, organized, and enjoys a mix of retail, customer service, and hands‑on work. You’ll help keep the store running smoothly while making sure every member and guest feels welcomed and taken care of. What You’ll Do Greet customers as they enter the store and create a welcoming environment Answer questions, address concerns, and help customers find what they need Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked sales floor Receive, check, stock, and inventory shipments Process transactions including cash, debit/credit cards, returns, and exchanges Provide excellent customer service throughout every shift Assist with reservations and member needs as required Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing work areas What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience/knowledge Ability to lift 25‑30 lbs Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as reaching, bending, and walking Previous retail experience preferred (training provided) Strong customer service and communication skills Organized and able to follow a schedule and directions Positive, team‑oriented attitude with a focus on helping others Why Join Outdoor Adventures? 401(k) with Safe Harbor company matching PTO accrual starting on day one Health, dental, and vision insurance options (full‑time, year‑round positions) Volunteer Time Off Promote‑from‑within culture with opportunities for advancement A supportive, team‑focused environment where your work is valued About Outdoor Adventures Outdoor Adventures is one of the largest networks of premier outdoor resorts and campgrounds in the country.
