Company Overview

We are a private holding company that acquires and operates businesses across multiple sectors, with a current portfolio concentrated in hospitality and complemented by software and brand assets. We acquire established operating businesses and improve them against a defined plan. This role sits at the front of that engine — turning inbound interest from business owners into signed letters of intent.

Position Summary

The Acquisitions Manager works inbound leads from business owners interested in selling, builds rapport quickly, qualifies the opportunity, and moves each seller through our process to a signed letter of intent. Think of it as sales — but on the buying side, which is an easier conversation: the seller already raised their hand, and you are offering them the outcome they came looking for.

This is a high-contact, phone-forward role. Success is measured by how effectively you convert qualified inbound leads into signed LOIs, and by how smoothly sellers move through the process. Our systems and templates do much of the structuring; your job is the relationship, the qualification, and the momentum.

Key Responsibilities

• Work inbound leads. Respond quickly to incoming seller inquiries and make first contact by phone while interest is high.
• Build rapport. Establish trust with owners, understand why they are selling, and make them comfortable moving forward with us.
• Qualify. Gather the basics on the business — performance, rent, reason for sale, timeline — and identify which opportunities are worth advancing.
• Present the offer. Walk sellers through how we buy and what to expect, positioning the deal as the solution to what brought them to us.
• Drive to LOI. Move each qualified seller through our system to a signed letter of intent, keeping the process moving and handling objections and hesitation along the way.
• Manage the pipeline. Keep every lead's status current, follow up persistently on warm opportunities, and never let an interested seller go cold.
• Report. Give ownership a clear, current view of pipeline, conversion, and signed LOIs.
• Hand off. Deliver a clean summary of each signed deal so diligence and closing can pick up from a complete picture.

What This Role Is (and Isn't)

This is a conversion role , not a deal-structuring or diligence role. You take qualified inbound interest and turn it into signed LOIs using our process and templates. Your job is to keep sellers engaged and moving, and to bring us closed deals.

Qualifications

• Strong phone and relationship skills — you build trust fast and people enjoy talking to you.
• A sales or high-volume-contact background (inside sales, business brokerage, lending, real estate, or similar).
• Comfortable qualifying opportunities and asking direct questions about a business.
• Persistent and organized follow-up — you work a pipeline without letting leads slip.
• Coachable and process-driven — able to work within our system rather than reinventing it.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, energized by a clear conversion target.
• Restaurant, hospitality, or small-business experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation

Compensation is structured to reward signed, quality LOIs that advance to close:

• Base salary: commensurate with experience.
• Performance incentive: a bonus per signed LOI and/or per completed acquisition, weighted toward deals that actually close (Bonus of 5-10k per deal on average)
