Warehouse Associate

Job Description

You will sort and place boxes on the correct pick pallets for forklift operators, pick and pack products of various sizes, use lifting equipment for heavy parts, and operate an RF scanner to ensure accurate inventory and order fulfillment. You will also load and unload semi-trailers with completed pallets while maintaining a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sort boxes and accurately place them on the correct pick pallets for forklift operators.
• Pick and pack products ranging from small handheld boxes to heavy machine parts weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Use lifting equipment to safely handle and move large and heavy parts.
• Operate an RF scanner to track inventory, confirm picks, and maintain accurate records.
• Load and unload semi-trailers with completed pallets in a safe and efficient manner.
• Support general warehouse duties, including order picking, packaging, and inventory-related tasks.
• Follow established quality standards to ensure the correct product is shipped to the correct facility.
• Maintain high attention to detail to avoid shipping errors, including overseas shipments to incorrect locations.
• Work effectively in a diverse, multicultural team environment and contribute to an inclusive culture.
• Remain flexible with working hours, including mandatory overtime and regular Saturday work when required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to be trained and certified on forklift operation.
• Experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, packaging, and general labor tasks.
• Comfort working in a large, open parts distribution center with a variety of products and forklifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Davenport,IA.
