Transit Bus Driver - CDL Required

Driver We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Houston, PA via Freedom Transit. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Compensation & Benefits $22.45 per hour (CBA position) Medical, Dental, and Vision 401(k) Paid PTO/Vacation Key Responsibilities Execute flawless operations by following designated routes and schedules, adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations. Provide exceptional care and assistance to passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation. Conduct comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, promptly reporting maintenance issues, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment readiness. Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat‑belt enforcement, emergency response readiness, and regulatory compliance. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications 21 years or older. Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional). CDL Required – Class A or B with passenger endorsements. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Availability to work day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts as assigned. Subject to DOT drug testing and physical exam if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis. Physical Requirements Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts. Primarily long periods of sitting and using a computer. Work environment combines indoor and outdoor conditions.
