Key Responsibilities Perform in-depth security audits of smart contracts written in languages like Solidity, Vyper, or Rust. Identify vulnerabilities, including but not limited to, reentrancy, integer overflows/underflows, access control flaws, and gas limit issues. Conduct thorough code reviews, analyze code logic, and assess potential attack vectors. Utilize static and dynamic analysis tools to detect potential security flaws. Document audit findings clearly and concisely in comprehensive reports. Provide actionable recommendations for improving smart contract security and efficiency. Stay abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in the blockchain space. Engage with clients to explain audit findings and discuss mitigation strategies. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our client's auditing methodologies and tools. Requirements Demonstrable experience in auditing smart contracts for various blockchain platforms. Expert-level proficiency in Solidity and/or other smart contract languages. Deep understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques. Familiarity with blockchain architecture, especially Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains. Experience using security analysis tools and frameworks (e.g., Slither, Mythril, Echidna). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality audit reports. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines. Prior experience working with companies in Eastern Cape, ZA or remote contracts is beneficial.
