Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide assessments and therapeutic interventions in a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care while collaborating with healthcare teams to improve communication and swallowing functions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy as needed.
• Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
• Educate patients and families on communication and swallowing strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid State Speech Language Pathologist license.
• Possess ASHA certification or equivalent.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and clinical skills.
• Have prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
