Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and formulate individualized therapy programs to help them attain their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living tasks
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work collaboratively alongside OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families on therapy practices to sustain progress outside of sessions
• Track and Report Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring patients continue to move forward

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Pursuit of continuing education or advanced certifications is encouraged and supported

Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
