Assistant Manager - Carwash

We are seeking a motivated and dependable professional to support daily operations at a high-traffic car wash facility. In this role, you will help lead team members, ensure exceptional customer service, maintain equipment performance, and support efficient site operations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on mechanical knowledge, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the car wash facility and help ensure smooth, efficient service
• Assist with supervising, training, and motivating team members to deliver a positive customer experience
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs as needed
• Help maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization across the site
• Address customer questions or concerns professionally and promptly
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and operational reporting
• Work with management to support productivity, quality standards, and business goals
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in car wash operations, facility maintenance, equipment support, or a related field preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to support and guide a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented approach to daily work
• Basic computer and point-of-sale system familiarity is helpful
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Preferred Skills

• Experience with pumps, motors, conveyor systems, or similar mechanical equipment
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems independently
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
