Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Safety & Compliance
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Lead safety improvement initiatives and investigate incidents as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental regulations, and customer requirements.
Production Management
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production schedules and customer requirements.
- Ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Monitor production performance, identify constraints, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage labor utilization, staffing levels, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to meet operational goals.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and waste-reduction initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Facilitate continuous improvement projects including preparation of Capital Purchases.
- Drive process standardization and best-practice sharing across operations.
Leadership & Team Development
- Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and production employees.
- Conduct performance reviews and establish development plans.
- Foster employee engagement and continuous learning.
- Lead change management efforts associated with operational improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and operational excellence methodologies.
- Experience supervising teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
