What You'll Do Own full-cycle accrual accounting for a portfolio of properties. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Manage month-end and year-end close activities. Prepare and record journal entries and accruals. Perform general ledger reconciliations and bank reconciliations. Partner with leadership to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting. Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. Assist with annual audits and maintain audit-ready documentation. Collaborate with operations and internal stakeholders to improve accounting processes as the organization grows. Help establish best practices for the company's evolving accrual accounting function. What We\'re Looking For Required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong accrual accounting experience (cash-basis accounting alone is not sufficient). Solid understanding of GAAP. Experience preparing financial statements and managing month-end close. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a close-knit team. Preferred Property management, real estate, construction or project accounting experience. Experience supporting or leading external audits. Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience with AppFolio, Yardi, MRI, OneSite or similar property management software. QuickBooks Online experience is a plus.
