Role Responsibilities

• Assist in specimen collection as necessary and prepare samples for laboratory examinations.
• Document all processes comprehensively, mentor new team members or students, and contribute to upholding lab quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, plus ASCP/AMT certification preparatory course.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification status for the duration of employment.
