Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Inner Peace Mental Health Services, your primary duties will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, fostering rapport, and establishing positive working relationships while upholding a professional code of ethics.

• Conducting regular sessions to assess client progress, discussing stability, planning upcoming appointments, and determining appropriate discharge when suitable.

• Creating, implementing, and regularly monitoring person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation, including clinical notes and treatment updates, for each client in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Conducting intake assessments to identify clients' needs and develop effective treatment strategies.

• Providing individual therapy sessions as scheduled each week, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.

• Participating in individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and ensure accountability.

• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele ranges broadly within the mental health spectrum, encompassing children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds, each facing distinct challenges. As an LPC, you will play a pivotal role in supporting these individuals and families, guiding them toward improved mental health and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current, active, and unrestricted LPC licensure in New Jersey.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a clinical outpatient setting post-graduation.

• Proficiency in technology, including experience with electronic health record systems, spreadsheets, and telehealth platforms.

• Demonstrated experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to both individuals and families.

• Comfort and skill in conducting intake assessments effectively.

Preferred Experience\n
