People & Culture Intern

Schurz Communications Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented People & Culture Intern to support a major initiative: digitizing our HR records to help modernize and streamline our systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organizing information, learning how HR teams operate, and contributing to meaningful process improvements.

In this role, you'll work closely with the People & Culture team and gain hands-on experience with core HR functions while helping us transition from paper files to an efficient electronic system. If you're reliable, eager to learn, and have a positive, can-do attitude, we'd love to work with you!

Responsibilities:

• Scan, organize, and digitize paper HR documents
• Help ensure electronic files are properly labeled, stored, and organized
• Support the team with light administrative tasks as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and follow proper handling of sensitive information
• Learn the basics of HR systems and processes through hands-on experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Willingness to learn new tools and processes
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to stay focused, manage time effectively, and complete tasks independently
