Exciting Opportunity for a Physical Therapist! Job Description:
- Position: Outpatient Physical Therapist
- Shift: Day Shift (Monday - Friday, 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM)
- Experience: 3 years required; First-timers not accepted
- Weekend Requirement: Confirm with the unit
- Floating: Must float within skillset; All LifeBridge clinicians float as needed Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients
- Implement treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, dry needling, and hand therapy (preferred)
- Ensure patient safety and recognize signs of abuse
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and create plans of care Requirements:
- Licensure: Valid Maryland state or compact PT license required upon submittal
- Certifications:
- BLS (required)
- Manual Therapy (required)
- Dry Needling, Hand Therapy (preferred)
- Skills:
- Experience with adaptive devices, body mechanics, and vital sign assessment
- Proficient in patient and family education and home exercise programs Additional Qualifications:
- Outpatient clinic experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Experience with geriatric, neurologic, and orthopedic patient populations
- Equipment proficiency: crutches, gait belts, lower extremity prosthetics, traction tables, and more Unit Details:
- Work in an outpatient physical therapy department serving adults and geriatric patients
- No call requirement and up to 2 pre-approved time-off requests allowed per contract
- Scrub Color: Wine
