Member Service Representative – Contact Center

Location: Winchester, VA

Pay: $19.50/hr

Work Environment

Hybrid contact center environment supporting a 24/7 operation with a structured, schedule-driven workflow. High-volume call setting requiring continuous phone interaction and use of multiple systems throughout the day.

Schedule

24/7 schedule-driven shifts with structured breaks; daily availability spans 9.5 hours with slight variation in start and end times; back-to-back calls for extended periods.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Rate: $19.50/hr

About the Role

This role supports a fast-paced contact center environment by handling inbound and outbound calls, assisting members with financial products and services, and ensuring a high level of customer experience through professional communication and efficient multitasking.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to high volume inbound and outbound calls
• Provide accurate information on financial products and services
• Perform account transactions in accordance with policies
• Use active listening to understand and address member needs
• Navigate multiple systems simultaneously
• Recommend additional products and services
• Maintain compliance with procedures and regulations
• Document member interactions accurately

Required Skills & Experience

• Customer service experience in high-contact environments such as call centers, administrative roles, or retail
• Experience handling high-volume calls in a structured setting
• Strong data entry skills with attention to accuracy
• Ability to multitask across multiple computer systems
• Professional communication and phone etiquette
• Ability to follow strict policies and procedures

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, VA.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
