MEP Project Manager

MEP Project ManagerDSI, Dynamic System a Quanta company, is seeking a MEP Project Manager to lead the project team on the design side of the business once a contract is awarded, managing all aspects of a project's design in coordination with owners, engineers, and architects. Balances the financial and risk-reporting needs of DSI leadership with strong, ongoing client relationships throughout the design phase.What You'll DoBuild and maintain positive, ongoing relationships with internal teams and external clients and their representativesMaintain a thorough working understanding of the owner contract and any client master service agreementsOwn overall execution of the contract's design-phase obligationsMonitor scope changes closely and communicates cost/schedule impacts to the client in a timely mannerProvide leadership to the project team once a contract is awardedEnsure DSI's project procedures, tools, and standards are followed throughout the design effortDevelop the project-specific execution plan, communicate it to the team, and update it as project conditions changeClearly communicate baseline scope of work to the project team and keep the team current on approved change ordersOwn, manage, and communicate the project design schedule, ensuring adequate time for QA and client review cyclesIdentify and escalate potential project risks to engineering leadershipPartner with project accounting to keep budgets, forecasts, billings, and receivables currentPrepare project status reports and lead monthly reviews covering financial forecasts, revenue/margin projections, staffing, client relationship health, and overall project statusWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management4–5 years of relevant project management or design-phase experienceStrong knowledge of project controls, including change management, fee/cost estimating, schedule development, and forecasting (manpower and cost)Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, clients, and general contractorsAbility to read and understand construction documents across tradesSolid business writing and public speaking skillsWorking proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)Strong knowledge of the mechanical/engineering industryAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) or Lean Project Delivery methodsExperience with project accounting/ERP systems (e.g., Vista, COINS, or similar)PMP certificationWhat You'll GetCompetitive base salary commensurate with experience401(k) plan with company matchComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageAnnual performance-based bonus opportunityPaid holidays, vacation, and personal timeTraining, professional development, and support for licensure/professional association duesEqual Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
