Job Description: We are seeking a skilled beertender for a contract position in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of various beers, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for all patrons.

Responsibilities:

• Serve a wide variety of craft beers and beverages to customers
• Provide detailed information about different beers, including taste profiles and brewing methods
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Assist in restocking and inventory management
• Engage with customers to enhance their experience and promote loyalty

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a beertender or bartender
• Strong knowledge of craft beers and brewing processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS) is a plus
