We are a Construction company looking for an experienced Project Accountant (3 to 5 years) in the Construction Industry. The Project Accountant will assist in the overall accounting and administration of projects.
Key responsibilities include reviewing contract documents, preparing AIA documents, managing change order documentation, processing monthly customer billings, recording cash receipts, ordering materials, handling notices to owner (NTO), overseeing contractor documentation, and generating purchase orders. Also, monthly bank reconciliations, payroll tax filings for multiple states and other general accounting schedules as needed.

General Requirements.
a. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
b. High level computer skills must know Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
c. Knowledge of ERP Systems a plus
d. Knowledge of the construction and maintenance industry.
e. Must be initiative-taking and punctual to all appointments.
f. Must be able to manage multiple tasks.
g. Must be professional and polished in appearance and speech.
