Work Arrangement: Onsite

We are seeking an experienced Molding Tooling Engineer with strong expertise in injection molding, mold and tooling design, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting medical products and working with injection molding machines, including hot runner systems .

• Design and engineer moderately complex molds, tooling, jigs, and fixtures based on product specifications.
• Design, develop, optimize, repair, and modify molds and tooling used in manufacturing processes.
• Participate in design reviews and perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) evaluations.
• Review and approve mold designs and support mold qualification using FIR/FRP according to established processes.
• Support mold sampling, qualification, validation, and final part approval.
• Troubleshoot molding and tooling issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Develop and implement cost-effective tooling design changes and improvements.
• Collaborate closely with production, product design, quality, and other engineering teams to ensure tooling meets quality, reliability, and efficiency requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to molds, tooling, and molding processes.
• Provide regular project and tooling status updates according to established schedules.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to tooling and tool-room equipment.
• Work with the tooling department to repair, modify, and maintain molds.
• Support injection molding process troubleshooting and optimization.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with injection molding and tooling .
• Prior experience working with medical products is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of thermoplastics, thermosets, injection molding processes, and mold validation .
• Experience with hot runner injection molding systems .
• Knowledge of mold flow, tooling troubleshooting, and resolving molding-related issues.
• Experience with mold design, development, repair, modification, and optimization .
• Proficiency with Creo/ProE and Windchill .
• Experience with SolidWorks .
• Strong knowledge of DFM and tooling design principles .
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic injection molding machine operator knowledge is preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic assembly, component identification, color codes, and schematics.
• Basic understanding of PCB operations and testing.
• Experience with troubleshooting and testing using equipment such as:
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Logic analyzers
  • Measuring and inspection tools
  • Cable and harness testing equipment
  • Component testing equipment
  • Microscopes
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical tools, including taps and dies, alignment tools, and precision measuring equipment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on tooling professional who can work effectively across mold design, injection molding, tooling qualification, production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement , with strong attention to quality, documentation, and manufacturability.
