Job Summary: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Rochester, MN. The registered nurse (RN) coordinates nursing care for critically ill pediatric patients, including direct patient care, education for patients and families, and transitions of care. This role includes planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients, with opportunities to support professional nursing practice through mentoring, precepting, and quality improvement efforts. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating Day/Night shift, 12-hour shifts (07:0019:30 and 19:0007:30). Every 3rd weekend required. Minimum 36 hours per week.
• Start Date: 06/29/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license as required by the applicable state; completion of an accredited baccalaureate, associate, or diploma nursing program (as recognized by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACENformerly NLN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)); Basic Life Support (BLS) competency; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (maintains competency as required by the region); minimum of 2 years of recent acute nursing experience; minimum of 1 year of recent travel RN experience; 2 years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN experience; Level 1 trauma and intubated patient care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Critical care Registered Nurse Certification (CCRN); Trauma Certified Clinical Nurse (TCTCN); solid organ transplant experience is strongly preferred.
• Additional Information: Floating is required as needed. Additional specialty certification or training may be required by the work area.
