Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Fort Smith, AR 72916. Job Details: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 Location: Fort Smith, AR 72916 Job Type: Local contract Contract Length: 12 weeks Pay Range: $24/Hr. to $25/hr. *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education. Job Summary: Responsible for collecting blood specimens, processing samples for laboratory testing, and providing excellent patient service. Ensures accurate specimen handling while maintaining patient confidentiality and following established procedures. Key Responsibilities: Perform blood draws and specimen collection on patients of all ages. Label, process, and prepare specimens for testing. Verify patient information and maintain accurate records. Follow safety, quality, and compliance standards. Provide professional and compassionate patient care. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required. Strong venipuncture skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections. Basic computer and data entry skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred. 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred.
