Registered Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)

Dental HygienistWindrose Health network is seeking a compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our prenatal care team under an Access Practice Agreement (APA). In this role you will provide preventive dental services and education to pregnant women and children as part of a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.Key Responsibilities:Provide preventive dental care and education in coordination with prenatal medical visitsConduct oral health assessments and document findings in the electronic medical recordApply fluoride varnish and provide anticipatory guidance tailored to pregnancyCollaborate with team members (physicians, nurses) to ensure timely referrals to dental careEducate OB patients about the connection between oral health and pregnancy outcomes, and infant oral health.Qualifications:Licensed Dental Hygienist in Indiana2 years experience and at least 200 hours working under DentistEligible to practice under an Access Practice Agreement (APA)Experience working with pregnant or underserved populations preferredKnowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) and patient documentationCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationBilingual candidates encouraged to applyProfessional Development: To support excellence in care delivery, the selected hygienist will receive additional training and professional development tailored to this role.
