Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist . Our client is looking for someone with related experience, high attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.

The starting salary for this position is $25/hr

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
• Communicate with vendors regarding billing issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Support audits by providing required documentation

The Accounts Payable Specialist will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Associate's degree in accounting, business or closely related field preferred
• 1+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
