Job SummarySeeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery teams working on largescale Java modernization and Spring Boot migration projects The ideal candidate should possess strong Agile delivery expertise along with a good understanding of Java frameworks Spring Boot microservices APIs CICD and cloudnative application developmentKey ResponsibilitiesFacilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily standups backlog refinement sprint reviews and retrospectivesSupport engineering teams involved in migrating legacy Java applications to Spring Boot and microservices architecturePartner with Product Owners Technical Project Managers architects developers QA DevOps and infrastructure teamsHelp teams plan and deliver migration milestones while maintaining sprint predictability quality and business alignmentTrack sprint progress velocity burndown metrics risks issues blockers and crossteam dependenciesRemove delivery impediments and coordinate timely resolution with technical and business stakeholdersFacilitate technical discussions related to Java modernization API dependencies testing deployment and production readinessEnsure user stories technical stories and acceptance criteria are clearly defined and ready for developmentSupport the decomposition of complex migration requirements into manageable epics features and user storiesCoordinate dependencies across multiple Agile teams participating in application modernization programsDrive adherence to Agile principles Scrum practices SDLC controls and organizational governance standardsPromote continuous improvement through actionable retrospectives delivery metrics and team feedbackSupport release planning change management production deployment and postmigration stabilization activitiesPrepare and communicate Agile delivery reports to program leadership and USbased stakeholdersCoach team members on Agile practices and foster collaboration accountability transparency and continuous improvementRequired SkillsStrong experience as a Scrum Master for enterprise application development or modernization projectsGood understanding of Core Java Spring Framework Spring Boot and microservices architectureExperience supporting legacy JavatoSpring Boot migration projectsUnderstanding of REST APIs enterprise integrations databases and distributed application architectureStrong knowledge of Scrum Kanban SAFe and other Agile delivery methodologiesProficiency in JIRA Confluence Azure DevOps or similar Agile management toolsExperience managing risks blockers dependencies sprint metrics and release coordinationUnderstanding of CICD pipelines Git Jenkins Docker Kubernetes and cloud environmentsExcellent facilitation conflict resolution stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to effectively collaborate with USbased stakeholders and globally distributed teamsPreferred SkillsBanking or Financial Services experienceExperience supporting application modernization and cloud migration programsExposure to AWS Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud PlatformCertified ScrumMaster PSM SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent certificationFamiliarity with AIassisted productivity and Agile delivery toolsKnowledge of Payments Digital Banking or Core Banking applications
