Senior Tax Accountant - Public Accounting, Tax Review
Works with the tax team to prepare and continue learning to review tax returns. Handles routine client tax questions, and works with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance. Completes research and other special assignments/tasks as needed. Recognizes and informs senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients. Ensures professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate. Stays informed about firm capabilities other than tax compliance area, and promotes these activities to clients when appropriate.
At least 3 years in public accounting with an emphasis in taxation. Experienced with both Individual and Business tax. CPA license is a plus, CPA eligible is REQUIRED. M.S. in Taxation is preferred.
