Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting within an acute care hospital environment
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Potential to float to additional units to care for the same patient population as needed to meet operational needs
• May be required to care for patients on ventilators
• Rotate between day and night shifts as required by facility operational needs, including working at least every other holiday
• Complete facility orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations with a passing score

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent specialty experience obtained within a single facility location
• Experience caring for ventilator-dependent patients
• Supervisory or charge nurse reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
