Flatbed CDL-A OTR Driver Location: Lamoni, IA Last week to apply: 6/30/2026 Overview System Transport is hiring experienced CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for regional and OTR routes. As a driver, you will transport important goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across the western region of America. Pay & Benefits Weekly Pay: $1,171.40 – $2,106.07 per week Annual Pay: $60,912.97 – $109,515.47 per year Depending on experience, routes, attendance, and length of service. Flatbed OTR Driver Rate: $0.55 – $0.60 per mile, depending on experience. Full pay package includes additional accessorial compensation such as tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, and over-dimensional pay. Transition Package: $1,800, with $1,000 allocated for orientation during the first two weeks. Responsibilities Transport goods and materials including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Adhere to company and safety regulations for all shipments. Maintain accurate records of mileage, deliveries, and any incidents. Perform basic truck inspections and report maintenance needs. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL. Minimum age 21 years. Safe driving record. No more than six jobs in the last three years. Minimum of 4+ months of driving experience. Background check required. Clean drug test required. Clean clearinghouse result required. Physically able to lift a 90‑pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation. Preferred: 1 year truck driving experience.
