About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Strategy and Distribution. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the business development, financial analysis, and deal execution processes, particularly in the context of significant transactions such as retransmission consent agreements, network affiliation agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. This role demands a hands-on approach, close collaboration with senior leadership, and the ability to manage complex projects from inception to execution. The Vice President will be responsible for leading deal strategy and execution, providing financial and strategic support for M&A transactions, and evaluating new business opportunities to advance the company's distribution and revenue strategy. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience, with at least 15 years' in senior-level business development, media distribution, corporate strategy, or a related transactional function. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in structuring, negotiating, and executing complex commercial agreements, strong financial modeling and analytical skills, and experience in television, media, streaming, or telecommunications. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential, and direct experience with retransmission consent or network affiliation negotiations is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate core competencies such as strong commercial judgment, executive presence, and a collaborative leadership style.
