Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Neuro Diagnostics - $1,805 per week

Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel We’re looking for Respiratory Care professionals for an immediate travel position opening in Oklahoma City, OK. The right RT should have 1 year recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. Responsibilities Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patient being treated. Respond to emergent situations that could require Respiratory support. Respiratory Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. They must be able to easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times. Respiratory Therapists must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Qualifications Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ACLS. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. Requirements: BLS, RRT, ACLS, NBRC, 2 Years. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
