Location: Carson City, NV Pay Rate: $18.00 $20.00 per hour Schedule: Monday Thursday |5 AM 3:30 PM

Looking for Shipping and Receiving Associate jobs in Carson City where accuracy and teamwork keep products moving? This opportunity lets you play a key role in receiving incoming shipments, preparing outbound orders, and helping maintain an organized, efficient warehouse operation.

Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Quality Inspector certification (ASQ CQI) is a plus. Training in manufacturing, quality control, or inspection is helpful. Ability to read drawings, work instructions, and basic reports.

Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of quality inspection experience preferred. At least 2 years of manufacturing experience required. Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and inspection equipment. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP/MRP systems. Knowledge of GD&T, First Article Inspection (FAI), Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is a plus. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication skills.

Physical Capabilities: Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the workday. Frequent use of hands to inspect, measure, and handle parts. Ability to look closely at small details and measurements. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety procedures. Ability to complete tasks with little supervision.

Job Duties: Check parts and products using measuring tools to make sure they match drawings and customer requirements. Complete inspections during production, final inspections, and shipping inspections before products are sent to customers. Create inspection reports, certificates, and quality records, and enter information into the company computer system. Review paperwork for accuracy and make sure all documents are complete before shipment. Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming parts and help track quality issues. Work with team members and customers, follow safety rules, and keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
